Los Angeles wood has soul.

We’ve made meaningful progress in our vision to transform the devastating impact of wildfires into a force for good in Altadena. The Altadena Reciprocity Project, an offshoot of the Los Angeles Reciprocity Project, is our effort to build a circular, community-powered lumber economy. Angel City Lumber, along with our partners, have launched a community tree bank for Altadena. This initiative will collect and store fire-damaged logs—logs that would otherwise be chipped or discarded—to create a rebuilding resource for residents of Altadena.

However, if you have opted to keep your tree and you would like to utilize the lumber as slabs or finished products, contact us to participate in our Sawmill or Lifecycle services.
